Jim Harris wrote: "Just got a chance to see the video. Wow..! The audio fidelity is excellent
with a GREAT mix. Background vocals are at a perfect level. And I can't believe Britt's voice is still so pure. I
expected it to sound tired, but that's not the case at ALL! I know how hard it must be to narrow down the pictures and
camera shots for the song length. It down-right startled me to see my face in those shots! I'm serious. Although I looked
for about 15 minutes one time, I'm going to get serious and find those 8mm movie shots of the band back in 74. I know
they're around here somewhere. In the meantime, outstanding job on both video and music!"

Commander of our local American Legion and I was the President of the Auxiliary. Didn't think anything could bring us

"The Wall"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0sG_o-m_ek November 1982, Britt made his first visit to The Wall in Washington, DC, only to find tense
emotions and anger within a thick crowd. Even though he knew that he and FESTIVAL could be arrested for demonstrating,
Britt led his band members through the massive crowd, to the apex of The Wall, and began singing "America The Beautiful".
Sedating the anger, Britt turned it into a positive healing dedication. Born from this action, was Britt Small & FESTIVAL's original and
nationally known award winning hit song and music video "The Wall". Lyrics written by Festival Family member,
Lyle Zoerb, music written by Britt Small and Ray Roth. Watch on YouTube, as history unfolded and led Britt to become
known as "The musical voice of America's veterans". DVD available on "Britt's
Music Store" page. The song available on the American Pride CD. Order your copy today.

"Dear Britt, My name is Travis Reed. My Father is
a Vietnam Veteran that served with the 299th Combat Engineers. I remember growing up that he brought me to the annual
Vietnam Veterans Reunion in Kokomo, IN for quite a few years. I cannot remember a better time than seeing you and
your group perform every year. It gave me chills, it gave me pride and it allowed me to see the close bond that the
armed forces brothers share, which eventually opened my eyes and allowed me the honor of serving in the US Army for 10 years.
I'm now 29 years old, honorably discharged and, as I was on the internet this evening, recalled your name and music and
decided to look you up. I won't make this much longer and take up your time, but you should know that there are
several of us of my generation that know you and respect you very much! I recently ordered a couple of your DVD's
from your performance at the Wall, which my father is very much aware of. I plan on giving it to him on his birthday
(and of course ordered a copy for myself too. I close by saying that I am glad I had this opportunity to express my
appreciation and deep respect for you and what you stand for. Thanks for your service and God Bless You Sir! Respectfully, Travis Reed, Veteran, US Army, MP" |
